Giles Barker brings international experience in both the commercial and residential real estate business. Giles began his career in the UK in 1998, where he managed a portfolio of central London property, he then moved to Florida in 2006 where he brokered the sale of Miami Beach luxury homes for Sotheby’s International Realty®. Giles also brings the experience of working with many captains of industries, celebrities and sports personnel during his almost two decade business career between London, Miami and Charlotte.
Giles was excited to relocate with his family to Charlotte and put his 15+ years of experience into forming the Barker Group in partnership with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty and building a highly professional team to serve the Charlotte luxury home market.

In 2011, Charlie started his real estate career after graduating from UNC-Wilmington. He is a native of the Charlotte region and has developed a network of investors, first-time homebuyers, million-dollar sellers and everyone in between. Over his years of experience in the business he has successfully sold over 150 properties in North and South Carolina. He was named one of the top producing associates for 2017 and 2018 in the Premier Sotheby’s International Realty Charlotte office.
Charlie is actively involved in the community as a member and leader of Business Leaders of Charlotte, which donated over $50,000 to local charities in 2018. He also serves on the board for the Kilah Davenport Foundation and Pine Island Country Club.
In his leisure time, Charlie loves racing, being on the golf course, traveling and spending time with his wonderful wife, Molly. Charlie and Molly live in a historic home, circa 1890, nestled in the town of Concord, North Carolina.
